My academic and working life began in the areas of Civil Engineering and Law but I eventually found my way into the Social Housing Sector through regeneration. LMH is the third stock transfer housing association I have worked for but it is also my dream job.
Having been born and raised in a Liverpool Council house, I was extremely proud when I was appointed as LMH’s first Chief Executive and became responsible for negotiating the transfer of housing stock from Liverpool City Council. Following the transfer we delivered all the promises given to tenants, created a robust financial base for LMH and then began to build new homes together with diversifying the range of activities carried out by the LMH Group.
As Chief Executive I lead the executive directors in working with the Board of LMH to develop strategies that will deliver its mission to be ‘Proud of Our Homes’ and have ‘Pride in Our Neighbourhoods’. Once the strategies have been developed I then lead the various operations at LMH in making them a reality.
My role at LMH also encompasses the whole of the LMH Group including all of the subsidiary companies and their activities.
